Etsy shop!!

You have to check out this Etsy shop. Sew cute for little girls!!

Oh me, oh Mae  Etsy shop

Something to think about

As you know, Stampin Up ALWAYS retires things from their catalog about this time BEFORE the release their new catalog.

When you look at the retired accessories list, you'll note that all of our Stampin' Pads and craft ink refills are listed. This is for two reasons:

(1) Craft Stampin' Pads will now only be available in black and white;

(2) They are introducing a new Firm Foam pad in our Classic Stampin' Pads with the 2012-2013 annual catalog.
The Firm Foam pads offer better ink coverage and, in turn, better stamped images.
In addition, please note the following about the new catalog:
  • Only select Stampin' Write Markers will be available individually (Stampin' Write Markers in color collections WILL continue to be offered)
  • 12" x 12" Textured Card Stock will no longer be offered
  • 12" x 12" Smooth Card Stock will only be available in select individual colors and color collections

While using the new ink formula in the old Stampin' Pads is fine, we DO NOT recommend using the old ink formula in the new firm foam pads.

Any refills purchased after April 30, 2012, will contain the new formulated ink.

If there are any individual markers you are missing from your collection, now would be a good time to get them, since you may have to buy a whole set starting June 1st.

If you are craft ink lover, now is the time to stock up on your favorite refill.

Retiring List post

I have NO idea why it repeats itself at the bottom of my (Retiring List) post at a slant. LOL!! When I previewed my post, it looked perfect. Now it looks silly. Oh well, Not going to fuss with it. The list of stamps is readable, that's good enough :)

Easter Cards to share

Ok, so not Easter, but wanted to share. I made these for my aunt. When she finished chemo, she wanted to give thank you cards to the nurses.

For my niece!! Her 1st birthday!!

CLOSE UP.... cut out a circle on scrap paper and used that circle to sponge some color. Stamped the flower on scrap, cut it out. Stamped the stem and leaves BEFORE gluing down my flower.

CLOSE UP... used a blender pen to color in petals, a marker to color stem green, stamen & anthers in yellow

CLOSE UP.... used wide oval punch for egg, bird punch for chick, frayed green ribbon for grass.

CLOSE UP.... (circle, oval & flower punches) Sponged all parts in light gray and light pink.

INSIDE, LEFT OF CARD... CLOSE UP.... punches (oval, heart, circles & flowers) Sponged all parts in light gray & light pink.

CLOSE UP.... used the bird punch wing for petals, bird punch leaves here too. Used my scor-pal to make lines on my pink card stock.
