I'm sorry I have not posted cards from the last card class nor from Christmas Stamp Camp. I will have a chance to get that done over break. Check back AFTER Christmas, hopefully they will be up :)

Give PAPER QUILLING a try. Make this easy card today.
This card was made with a heart punch glued to your card front. Then 1/8" wide X 12" long strip of paper was cut. (You can use Designer Series Paper OR Card Stock). Use your bone folder to gently "soften " your paper, hold one end with your fingers and use your bone folder as if you were using scissors to curl ribbon. (Careful not to pull too hard with your bone folder if you are using Designer Series paper). Now grab your stylus and start to tightly roll your strip of paper creating your guilling image. Use Multi Purpose Adhesive to glue guilling image over the punched out heart on your card front. (Multi Purpose Adhesive does not dry quickly, so you will have to hold it down for just a bit). The last thing to do is to stamp a saying of your choice on the card. This card says, "i love you".

Hello ladies,
How many of you would LOVE to stock up on handmade cards?
I have the perfect opportunity. When you buy a pack of white card stock and a Simply Scrappin' Kit from Stampin' Up you can EASILY make at least 40 cards!! Yup, with a SCRAPBOOK KIT, you can easily afford to make lots, and lots of cards!!
It's been maybe a couple of years since I last got together with a group of eager card makers to get the job done but, we did it. In just a few hours, we had 40 hand make cards with enough paper to make probably 40 more or some scrapbook pages.
If you would like to stock up on some cards this is a FUN, EASY and best of all QUICK and AFFORDABLE way to do it.
I plan on using Stampin' Up!'s Playful Polka Dots Simply Scrappin' Kit on page 15 of the Summer MINI, its' $21.95. You will also have to purchase a pack of white card stock. It comes with 40 sheets for $8.50.

Making holiday cards
I think that getting together to make some Christmas cards will be great!! Lets get together
September 17th at 11:30am. If we don't finish, I'll plan for another day.
You need to pick the card stock paper of your choice and a stamp set. I'm thinking the one on page 43, Bells & Boughs $19.95. I really like that one. You can make cards, tag and packages. You will also have to supply your ribbon and adhesive. If you choose to use ribbon. Feel free to bring ribbon from home if it matches. You do not need to buy adhesive form me unless that's what you choose to do. Ribbon starts on page 194.
There's Christmas paper on page 186, Letters To Santa $10.95 and Christmas die cuts that match on page 187, Letters to Santa $9.95. You might like to incorporate this paper and "sticker type" die cuts in your cards. Orders due September 1st. RSVP your spot by August 1st.
THANKSGIVING: Want Thanksgiving cards to mail out to family & friends? Come on over September 16th at 6pm. Please limit Thanksgiving cards to no more than 10. Prices are $2.00 each, 5 for $8.00 or 10 for $15.00. No need to place an order. Just RSVP your spot by August 1st with how many cards. Money due September 1st.

July News
As you can see, I have not posted in a while. I took May off because it's always a busy month with the end of school and ball.
In June, I started preparing for Summer Stamp Camp. (YIKES! Still finishing up some projects). My son turned 10 years old and we went on a family vacation. My parents celebrated their 35th anniversary and the whole gang stayed in a beach house for the week. It was my parents, me and my family, and my two sisters with their families. It was a GREAT VACATION!!
JULY: long awaited Stamp Camp is Saturday July 16 at 9AM. Please bring a snack to share (nothing messy considering we are working with our hands), your favorite adhesives, (SNAIL or similar, glue dots and glue stick) and a pair of good scissors (sharp and lets you get in small spaces). I will have most of the items cut or perforated.... BUT.... I do want you guys to have a chance to use the Big Shot. Considering there are only 6 ladies, I am going to take a chance on time and let you guys cut some of your stuff :)

Ideas so far...
Okay, this is what I have to narrow it down from.

- "Chocolate Cake in Minutes (w/recipe)". It would include buying a mug and ingredients for cake.
- "Kids Color Set". Would include buying chalk, watercolors or colored pencils and making a chalkboard to go with chalk or making a coloring book to go with watercolors or colored pencils.
- "My Journal". Would include buying a composition or spiral notebook.
- "Tool Time". This is for a male gift. Would include buying a home improvement gift card and hopefully making a tool box.
- "Slice of Cake". This would include buying candy and making a slice of cake box to put candy in. OR "So Sweet of You". This would include buying candy and making a box to put candy in. Card front would read "So Sweet of You". This would be given as a simple thank you gift. I think I'm leaning toward the second idea.
- Guess what... another candle!! There is SOOOO much you can do with candles!! This would include buying a candle.
- "Shadow Box" of "Framed Art". This would include buying frame and decorating it.
- "Keeping Organized". This is a desk set. Would include buying a small clip board, post-it's , paper clip and pen.
