Sorry, that last post was supposed to be saved as a draft until I figured out the Christmas cards. Sorry. Everything else is good. I am going to make.... maybe three different Christmas cards with prices then you can decide what and how many to make.

                              Card Class: We will be making 10 cards. FIVE for July and FIVE for August. If you
                              can't finish all TEN cards, you can finish during Septembers card class. Bring adhesive.

September 3rd - Saturday 10AM
                         Meeting to make 40 cards with the scrapbook kit! Bring a lunch, adhesive and a pair of
                         scissors!

September 17th- Saturday 11:30AM
                          Card Class. Hopefully back on schedule with FIVE cards! Bring adhesive. 

September 23rd - FRIDAY 6PM
                             Meeting to make Christmas cards. Bring enough adhesive!!

October 1st- money due for Christmas Stamp Camp!!! $45, please mail to my home address. 

October 21st-  Friday 6:30pm

How many of you would LOVE to stock up on handmade cards?

 

I have the perfect opportunity. When you buy a pack of white card stock and a Simply Scrappin' Kit from Stampin' Up you can EASILY make at least 40 cards!! Yup, with a SCRAPBOOK KIT, you can easily afford to make lots, and lots of cards!!

 

It's been maybe a couple of years since I last got together with a group of eager card makers to get the job done but, we did it. In just a few hours, we had 40 hand make cards with enough paper to make probably 40 more or some scrapbook pages.

 

If you would like to stock up on some cards this is a FUN, EASY and best of all QUICK and AFFORDABLE way to do it.

 

I plan on using Stampin' Up!'s Playful Polka Dots Simply Scrappin' Kit on page 15 of the Summer MINI, its'   $21.95. You will also have to purchase a pack of white card stock. It comes with 40 sheets for $8.50.

Total price for this project is $36.51. That's less than 92 cents per card. Where can you buy a handmade card for that price? You can't! It's a great deal. 

 

I will plan on  a date to meet. Probably end of August. Let me know if you are planning on joining. The money for this is due ASAP because I will have to order the supplies.   

 

By the way, you do not have to make all 40 cards at my house. Once you've made about 20, you can duplicate it at home with ease  : )

Making holiday cards

I think that getting together to make some Christmas cards will be great!! Lets get together

You need to pick the card stock paper of your choice and a stamp set. I'm thinking the one on page 43, Bells & Boughs $19.95. I really like that one. You can make cards, tag and packages. You will also have to supply your ribbon and adhesive. If you choose to use ribbon. Feel free to bring ribbon from home if it matches. You do not need to buy adhesive form me unless that's what you choose to do. Ribbon starts on page 194.

 

There's Christmas paper on page 186, Letters To Santa $10.95 and Christmas die cuts that match on page 187, Letters to Santa $9.95. You might like to incorporate this paper and "sticker type" die cuts in your cards. Orders due September 1st. RSVP your spot by August 1st.

 

THANKSGIVING: Want Thanksgiving cards to mail out to family & friends? Come on over September 16th at 6pm. Please limit Thanksgiving cards to no more than 10. Prices are $2.00 each, 5 for $8.00 or 10 for $15.00. No need to place an order. Just RSVP your spot by August 1st with how many cards. Money due September 1st.

July News

As you can see, I have not posted in a while. I took May off because it's always a busy month with the end of school and ball.

In June, I started preparing for Summer Stamp Camp. (YIKES! Still finishing up some projects). My son turned 10 years old and we went on a family vacation. My parents celebrated their 35th anniversary and the whole gang stayed in a beach house for the week. It was my parents, me and my family, and my two sisters with their families. It was a GREAT VACATION!!

JULY: long awaited Stamp Camp is Saturday July 16 at 9AM. Please bring a snack to share (nothing messy considering we are working with our hands), your favorite adhesives, (SNAIL or similar, glue dots and glue stick) and a pair of good scissors (sharp and lets you get in small spaces). I will have most of the items cut or perforated.... BUT.... I do want you guys to have a chance to use the Big Shot. Considering there are only 6 ladies, I am going to take a chance on time and let you guys cut some of your stuff :)
